Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 July 2026

Invoicely ("we", "us") is operated as a sole-trader service based in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what data we handle when you use invoicely.app and the tools on it.

The short version

  • We do not require an account. There is no signup, no password, no profile.
  • Your invoice draft is saved only in your own browser (local storage). We never see it.
  • We do not run analytics or ad trackers on your invoice builder.
  • The only personal data we process is what Stripe passes to us when you pay £1 to download a PDF.

1. Data you enter into the invoice builder

Everything you type into the invoice builder — your business name, client details, line items, notes, logo — is stored inside your own browser using localStorage. It is not transmitted to our servers. If you clear your browser data or switch device, the draft is gone.

2. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.. When you tap "Download PDF — £1", you are handed off to Stripe Checkout on a Stripe-hosted page. We never see your full card number, CVC or bank details.

Stripe shares with us: the transaction ID, the amount, the currency, the country the card was issued in, and the email address you enter on the checkout page. We keep this only for tax and accounting purposes and to help you if a download fails.

Stripe's own privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.

3. Email support

If you email hello@invoicely.app, we keep your email and the message so we can reply and follow up. We delete the thread once the issue is resolved and it is no longer useful.

4. Cookies and analytics

We do not set advertising cookies or third-party analytics on the invoice builder itself. The site uses only strictly-necessary storage (the localStorage key that holds your draft invoice, and Stripe's own cookies on the checkout page).

5. Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare's edge network. Cloudflare may log basic request metadata (IP address, user-agent, timestamp) for a short period as part of standard DDoS and abuse protection. We do not add extra server-side logging on top of that.

6. Your rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Because we hold almost nothing beyond payment records, most requests can be handled by replying to your Stripe receipt.

To exercise any right, email hello@invoicely.app. We respond within 30 days.

7. Children

Invoicely is a tool for businesses and freelancers and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.

9. Contact
