Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 July 2026
These terms are a contract between you and Invoicely ("we", "us") covering your use of the website at invoicely.app and any PDFs you download from it. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. What Invoicely is
Invoicely is a browser-based invoice generator. You fill in a form, preview an A4 invoice for free, and pay £1 (GBP) via Stripe to download a clean PDF. There are no accounts and no subscriptions.
2. Pricing and payment
- Each PDF download costs £1 GBP, charged via Stripe Checkout.
- Prices are inclusive of any applicable UK VAT.
- Payment is authorised by you at Stripe; we never handle card data directly.
- We may change the price in future. Any change applies only to future downloads, never retroactively.
3. Your invoice content
You are responsible for everything you enter into an invoice — your business details, tax rates, client information, and the accuracy of the amounts charged. Invoicely is a formatting tool, not a bookkeeping, tax, or legal service. You should confirm that the invoice meets the requirements of your jurisdiction (for example, UK VAT invoice rules) before sending it to a client.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Invoicely to:
- Create fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful invoices.
- Impersonate another business or person.
- Attempt to bypass the £1 payment, reverse-engineer the site, or scrape it at scale.
- Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights.
We may block access if we reasonably believe you are breaking these rules.
5. Refunds
Because the product is a one-off digital download that is delivered immediately, we do not offer general refunds after the PDF has been produced. If the download genuinely fails (for example, Stripe confirms the charge but no PDF is delivered), email us and we will either redeliver the PDF or refund the £1 within 24 hours.
6. Your data
Your invoice draft is stored in your browser, not on our servers. See the Privacy Policy for full detail on what we do and don't collect.
7. Intellectual property
The Invoicely name, brand, code, and design of the website belong to us. The invoices you generate, and any logo or content you put into them, belong to you.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the site up and working, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, improve, or change features at any time. If we retire the service entirely we will announce it in advance so you can stop relying on it.
9. Warranties and liability
The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we exclude all implied warranties. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss — including lost profits, lost clients, or tax penalties — arising from your use of the site or from an invoice you generate. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the download that gave rise to the claim (typically £1).
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under UK law, including for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules in your home country say otherwise.
